General culture point

The National Basketball League of USA is, as its name suggests, a American basketball league that was born in 2011 and which takes place in the different cities of USA. Seven teams compete in this competition in the first season. Indeed, there are three teams from the first basketball League (PBL) including the Halifax Rainmen, the Kebekwa of Quebec and the Mil Rats of Saint-Jean. The latter have therefore joined four American teams in the competition which were created specially for the occasion to train the seven basic teams of the LNB: the miracles of Moncton, the Power of Oshawa, the Stormsid Storms and the Lightning from London. In 2012, during the second season of the competition, the Quebec Kebekwa disappeared and were replaced by two new newly created teams: Windsor Express and Montreal jazz. The teams to compete for victory are then eight.

The LNB season begins with training camps at the end of September. Following training, a series of exhibition matches is organized. You have to wait until the first week of November to see the regular season start. During the latter, each of the teams that make up the League played 40 games, including 20 at home and 20 outside. The playoffs in which the best five teams compete at the end of March. In these five teams, we find the first two of each division, but also the team that has managed to take the best balance behind these four teams.

Prognosis

The team to have stood out the most since the launch of the competition is the London Lightning! Indeed, the London-based team in Ontario distinguished itself during the 2011-2012 season by winning the victory in Halifax Rainmen with a 3-2 score. The team continues the record again in the 2012-2013 season by facing Summerside's Storms. They leave winners of the meeting with a 3-1 score. Only, for two years, the London Lightning has been pale next to the L’Express of Windsor team which has managed to win the competition twice in a row. Indeed, they are illustrated against the Storms of Summersiof in 2014, then against the Rainmen of Halifax in 2015. Thus, for the 2016 season, the two favorites for titles are, of course, the London Lightning and L'Express Windsor. So, will they manage to make a hat-trick?
